 Rebuilding of the plant made necessary by air raids during WW II is completed. The workforce numbers 679.

Presentation of the Ultra, a highly flexible four-colour press, at the first drupa Fair.

1967
Turnover breaks the 200 million Deutschmarks barrier and the workforce climbs to 3,000.

1969
Fourth production plant opened in Mainflingen, where small-size press types are in future manufactured.

1972
ROLAND 800, integrated with the first ink control system in sheet-fed offset, boosts printing capacity to 10,000 sheets per hour.

1977
Launch of the Roland-CCI - the world's first computer-controlled ink control system.

1979
MAN Roland Druckmaschinen AG, Offenbach/Main, formed as a result of the merger of Roland Offsetmaschinenfabrik Faber & Schleicher, Offenbach, and the printing press division of Maschinenfabrik Augsburg-Nürnberg.

1985
Introduction of the ROLAND 200; a small-format press series with a maximum speed of 12,000 sheets per hour.

1988
MAN Roland's internal "Graphic Center" hosts the 2,000th seminar for the printing profession.

1990
Founded on a pioneering automation concept, the medium-size ROLAND 700 prints 15,000 sheets per hour.

1993
ROLAND 300 is developed and manufactured jointly with the Geisenheim plant.

1995/96
Presentation of the ROLAND 900 - an innovative sheetfed offset press for large formats. Packed with modern features, it sets new standards in terms of speed and economy.

2000
ROLAND 500 with 18,000 sheets per hour.

2003
ROLAND 900, XXL in format 7/7B and format 8.

2004
Introduction of ROLAND DirectDrive: direct drive for sheetfed presses.

Introduction of ROLAND InlineFoiler Prindor: cold foil laminating in sheetfed printing.

Strengthening of service competencies: active marketing of printcom, printnet and printservices.

MAN Roland becomes independent.
